WKU Women’s Golf head coach Adam Gary has announced the team’s fall and spring schedule for the 2024-25 season, expressing high expectations for the Lady Toppers as they prepare to take on their most challenging slate yet.
“I’m excited for this upcoming season. This is our strongest schedule ever,” said Gary. “My goal is to push our players as much as possible. Competition makes teams better, and I can’t wait to see where we stack up this season.”
The Lady Toppers will begin their campaign at the Boilermaker Classic, hosted by Purdue on September 1st. This marks the second consecutive year that WKU will travel to West Lafayette to kick off the season. Following that, the team will head to Louisville to compete in the Cardinal Cup, marking their first appearance there since 2019.
To close out September, WKU will travel to South Carolina for the Lady Paladin Invitational, where they will look to improve upon last year’s runner-up finish at the Furman-hosted event.
In early October, the Lady Toppers will compete in the Princess Anne Invitational, hosted by Old Dominion, before wrapping up the fall season at The Ally in West Point, Mississippi, hosted by Mississippi State.
The spring season will open with the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational, hosted by Mercer, where WKU finished as runners-up last season. Next, the Lady Toppers will head to Jacksonville, Florida, for the UNF Collegiate, a staple in their schedule, followed by their own Spring Break Shootout on March 17 and 18, where they are the reigning champions.
WKU will continue their spring tour in St. Augustine, Florida, competing in the Coach Mo Classic, hosted by Furman. To round out the regular season, the Lady Toppers will travel to Knoxville, Tennessee, for the one-day, 36-hole Tennessee Spring Challenge, hosted by the University of Tennessee.
The season will culminate in the Conference USA Championship, scheduled for April 14-16, at a location yet to be announced. Last season, the Lady Toppers secured a third-place finish at the championship, with three players finishing in the top 15.
