Academic awards for Kentucky Men’s Tennis continued to pour in on Monday, as the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) released their 2024 All-Academic Awards listing. Christophe Clement, Matt Rankin, Jaden Weekes, and Tate Sandman were all named ITA Scholar-Athletes for the 2024 season. The squad as a whole also picked up a laurel, being recognized as an All-Academic Team for the second consecutive season.

To qualify as a Scholar-Athlete, players must earn a minimum GPA of 3.5 for the 2023-2024 academic year. All-Academic Teams must hold a cumulative team GPA of at least 3.2 for the 2023-2024 academic year.

Clement and Sandman each earned Scholar-Athlete designations for the second time in their careers, while Rankin and Weekes each received their first career honor. All four recognized student-athletes were also honored by the SEC, with Clement and Sandman earning a spot on the 2024 Spring Academic Honor Roll while Rankin and Weekes earned places on the 2024 First-Year Academic Honor Roll. In addition to his hard work in the classroom, Weekes was also named Second Team All-SEC for the 2024 season.

In the past two seasons, in addition to being honored as an ITA All-Academic Team, the program has advanced to consecutive NCAA Quarterfinals, won consecutive SEC Tournament titles, and completed an undefeated run to the 2024 SEC Regular Season Championship.
