The Western Kentucky University men’s basketball team cruised to an 84-60 victory over Tennessee State on Tuesday night at Diddle Arena, improving their record to 6-3. The Hilltoppers showcased a strong all-around performance, with Khristian Lander leading the charge with 19 points, including an impressive 5-of-7 shooting from three-point range.
Don McHenry contributed 18 points and a game-high four steals, while Tyrone Marshall Jr. and Babacar Faye both grabbed six rebounds and reached double figures with 12 and 11 points, respectively. The Hilltoppers capitalized on defense, forcing 21 turnovers and converting them into 28 points.
