Kentucky State women’s volleyball dropped its home opener in straight sets to the University of the Cumberlands, losing 25-19, 25-12, 25-15 on Thursday night at Bell Gym.
The Thorobreds were led by Kyeana Biggs, who tallied seven kills. Amber Gregory contributed 14 assists and two aces, while Justice Mudd added eight digs to the effort.
Kentucky State will look to rebound as they head to Saint Mary of the Woods, Indiana, for a doubleheader against Saint Mary of the Woods on Saturday, September 14, with the first match scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
