WKU Tops MBB Releases Conference USA 2024-25 Schedule

Conference USA has unveiled its 2024-25 men’s basketball schedule, and WKU, under the leadership of new head coach Hank Plona, is set for an 18-game conference slate with nine home games at Diddle Arena.

WKU’s conference campaign will kick off on the road against Liberty on January 2 and will conclude at home against the same team on March 8. This season marks WKU’s 11th in Conference USA.

Key schedule highlights include:

  • Opening Road Stretch: WKU begins league play with five of its first seven games away from home. After the opener against Liberty, the Hilltoppers travel to FIU on January 4.
  • Home Openers: The team returns home for matchups against Jax State (January 9) and CUSA newcomer Kennesaw State (January 11).
  • Three-Game Road Trip: WKU hits the road again to face Middle Tennessee (January 18), LA Tech (January 23), and Sam Houston (January 25).
  • Mid-Season Home Games: The Hilltoppers host UTEP (January 30) and New Mexico State (February 1).
  • Rematches on the Road: WKU will play return games against Kennesaw State (February 6) and Jax State (February 8).
  • Final Home Stand: WKU concludes the regular season with five of its last seven games at home, including key matchups against Middle Tennessee (February 15), Sam Houston (February 20), and LA Tech (February 22).
  • Final Road Games: The Hilltoppers travel to face UTEP (February 27) and New Mexico State (March 1) before returning home.
  • Season Finale: WKU wraps up the season with home games against FIU (March 6) and Liberty (March 8).
