Louisville Tennis Programs Earn ITA Academic Honors

The University of Louisville men’s and women’s tennis programs have earned academic honors from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA). The women’s team had three athletes named to the All-Academic team, while the men’s team had five Cardinals added to the list.

In addition to individual accolades, the men’s team earned the team accolade as an All-Academic team. The Cardinals named to the Men’s ITA Scholar-Athletes list are Etienne Donnet, Evan Duggal, Miguel Avendaño, Piet Steveker, and Will Mayew.

On the women’s side, Lillian Mould, Allie Gretkowski, and Berta Miret made the ITA Scholar-Athletes list.

To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, student-athletes must have achieved a GPA of at least 3.5 for the 2023-24 academic year. To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, programs must have earned a team GPA of 3.2 or above.

The men’s team GPA for the year was 3.210.
