Thomas More University has entered its third year of provisional membership with the NCAA Division II in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC). This move marks significant progress towards becoming a full NCAA Division II member.
During the 2023-24 school year, Thomas More:
- Competed in the G-MAC with provisional Division II status, eligible for conference championships.
- Achieved notable athletic successes, including 25 All-Conference athletes, 38 Academic All-District honorees, and 180 G-MAC Academic All-Conference selections.
- Highlighted achievements in bowling with Maycie Merritt named co-bowler of the year and Alison McDonald earning the G-MAC Elite 26 Award.
- Wrestling excelled with Daulton Mayer winning the G-MAC Championship and several wrestlers achieving All-American status.
Looking ahead:
- The Saints are on track to compete for NCAA DII championships starting in the 2025-26 school year.
- Significant investments have been made in athletic facilities, including renovations at Thomas More Stadium and acquisitions like the Northern Kentucky Racquet Club.
