The Kentucky Volleyball team, in collaboration with ESPN, unveiled its 2024 television schedule on Thursday, featuring 10 national broadcasts. The Wildcats are set to appear on flagship ESPN three times and once on ESPN2 throughout the season.
The broadcast season will begin with an hour-long preview show on SEC Network at 7 p.m. ET on Friday night. Peter Burns, Katie George, and Missy Whittemore will provide an in-depth look at the Southeastern Conference’s new volleyball landscape.
Kentucky’s first televised match is a non-conference clash against Nebraska on August 27, airing on ESPN2 at 7 p.m. ET. This game is part of the AVCA First Serve Showcase and will feature Eric Frede, Katie George, and Holly McPeak calling the action.
The Wildcats will make their SEC Network debut on September 6, hosting Penn State at 7 p.m. ET during the Kentucky Invitational, held in the newly-renovated Memorial Coliseum.
Kentucky’s appearances on flagship ESPN include the Battle of the Bluegrass against Louisville on September 18 at 7 p.m. ET, a match against Florida on September 29 at 1 p.m. ET, and a showdown with Texas on October 13 at 1 p.m. ET, all broadcast live.
The season will conclude with two SEC Network games: against LSU on November 10 at 4:30 p.m. ET and the final home match versus Arkansas on November 24 at 4 p.m. ET.
